Originally established as a producer of a single cherry-flavored soda, Brown Distributing quickly grew to become Virginia’s leading beverage distributor. Today, our 200-plus team members proudly serve more than 3,000 retailers in Hopewell, Petersburg, and the Greater Richmond and Northern Virginia area and help generate combined sales of five million annually. Since 1919, our family owned business in Richmond, Virginia has built a lasting reputation with a focus on our high-quality beverage products, and most importantly, the customer service to match.

With an impressive history dating back to 1919, Brown Distributing has grown from a single producer of cherry-flavored soda during the Prohibition-era, to Virginia’s premier beverage distributor — even becoming the largest Anheuser-Busch wholesaler in Virginia.
